We have one meeting a month focusing on an aspect of sustainability ranging from transportation to consumerism to waste reduction. Guest speakers and local experts will train members on important issues affecting our local and global community.

Every month SEA hosts a variety of service projects that use aquired knowledge to give back to the community. 

 

Outreach

Adhering to our monthly themes, SEA members take their learned concepts to the UGA student body. Each month we have interactive displays and demonstrations that engage students in various environmental issues. 

 

Activism

We strive to create long term solutions to environmental problems at UGA and the surrounding community. Whether it be working with UGA Dining Services to initiate composting, Facility officials to promote waste and energy efficiency, or county commissioners to create legislative change, SEA hopes to make a lasting effect during our time at UGA.
